In Life Management, Managing Priorities, Tips and Tools

I’m so grateful that I was able to spend the holidays with four generations, including my 98-year-old father-in-law and our daughter, her husband, and their 11-week-old daughter.  Being a first-time grandparent made the holiday season extra special. I also enjoyed the company of extended family, including our niece’s two-year-old daughter and a three-year-old nephew. For me, it wasn’t about the gifts found under the Christmas tree, but rather the experiences I had and the people I shared them with. Being with family – especially the little ones — gave me an opportunity to pause and think about what matters most in 2020.

For me, I choose to rethink my social commitments so I’m connecting with the people who matter most to me.

You may be ending the year thinking about the goals you want to accomplish in the coming year.  Rather than making New Year’s resolutions — which most people don’t stick with past January — consider identifying 12 things you’d like to start or stop over the next 12 months, and focus on adding or discontinuing one activity or behavior per month.  Since it takes about 30 days to form a new habit, focusing on one new change per month may help you achieve greater success.

You may find it helpful to revisit one of my recent blog posts, What Matters Most, which will help you evaluate seven areas of your life as you identify what you want to be different in 2020. The most amazing result is that you’ll also enjoy greater career and financial success when you focus on creating more joy, freedom, and purpose in your life.

Remember what matters most to you and make sure your goals are aligned to help you experience more of what you want. If your goals aren’t leading you toward experiencing greater happiness and fulfillment, why are you pursuing them?

My mentor, Jack Canfield, is offering a FREE training series of three calls in January to help you learn how to release the blocks that have been holding you back – so you can finally create the life you want and make the 2020s your best decade ever! In this short video message, Jack shares the three core wounds that had been stopping him from living his best life, and why he was so inspired to host this special Break Free training series. Register now to access all three online training sessions.

Jack has never offered a training like this before… and now you can participate in his Break Free training series for free and dissolve the biggest blocks that have been preventing you from living your best life. Here are the dates for the three sessions:

Monday, January 6, 2020, 10 AM PST
Thursday, January 9, 2020, 1 PM PST
Monday, January 20, 2020, 9 AM PST

Please sign up if you are interested, even if the dates or times don’t work for you. Replay links will be available if you can’t make it to the live sessions.

Once you’ve taken Jack’s free online course if you’re ready to get unstuck and make a shift that helps you align your vision, priorities, and actions, let’s schedule a no-cost, no-pressure Discovery Call today. I am a Jack Canfield Success Principles Certified Trainer, and I can help you map out ways to get from where you are to where you want to be.

If you’d like to build in some accountability for yourself, add a note in the comment section below, indicating one activity or behavior you will focus on changing in the coming month.  For January, I plan to focus on shifting some negative (critical) energy I’ve felt toward someone who’s an important part of my life.
