TELECLASSES AND WEBINARS
First of all, what ARE “teleclasses” and “webinars”?
Teleclasses are live, interactive training classes conducted over the telephone, using a telephone "bridge" line. A bridge is simply a telephone line that allows several people to be on the line at the same time.
A webinar is an online visual presentation; in other words, a teleclass with a visual component added. You log onto a webinar and you can see the presenter's screen. Participants are also able to input questions and comments from their own computers. To participate in a webinar, you must click on the web link that is sent to you, and you must also dial into a bridge line to hear and/or be heard. If you cannot be online during the call, you can listen, but you may miss a lot if you cannot see what everyone else is seeing.
